Congratulations to QSS artist Gail Ritchie who is the 2023 winner of the Basil Chubb Award. The award is made by the Political Studies Association of Ireland in recognition of an outstanding contribution to research focused on the politics of Ireland. Gail received this award for her practice based PhD research The im/material monument.

Some of the work Gail produced as part of this research is currently exhibited in the Troubles and Beyond gallery at the Ulster Museum.
