QSS artist Sharon Kelly is part of duo show with Pádraig Mac Cana.

Both artists have developed their own distinct practices over many years – Mac Cana is known primarily as a painter, whilst Kelly works fluidly between 2 and 3-dimensional processes. In this unique collaboration, a conscious decision was made to utilise basic everyday materials, in particular recycled packaging and cardboard, to create a drawing and collage installation that responds to the shape and scale of the Cultúrlann gallery. Central motifs are the human figure and tree that incorporates a commentary on the relationship between both.
