QSS Graduate Bursary Solo Exhibition –Síofra Minnis

Since 2019 QSS Studios & Gallery have been providing support to a recent Belfast School of Art Graduate in the form of one year of free studio provision. The QSS Graduate Studio Bursary aims to relieve an emerging artist from financial pressure whilst easing the transition from university to professional practice. 

In August 2026 our seventh bursary recipient, Síofra Minnis, will presents a focused body of work developed during her time in the bursary studio (Oct 2025 – Sept 2026) The exhibition will highlight the depth, experimentation, and ambition made possible through sustained access to a dedicated studio environment, reflecting not only Minnis’ individual artistic trajectory, but also the vital role of QSS in nurturing emerging artists at a pivotal stage in their careers. The exhibition stands as a testament to what can be achieved when early-career practitioners are given the time, space, and support to fully realise their ideas.
