Belfast-Based Array Collective Named Turner Prize 2021 Winners

QSS artist Grace McMurray is among the members of Array Collective who were crowned the winners of the 2021 Turner Prize at last nights ceremony.

Judges praised the group for addressing social and political issues in Northern Ireland, and for translating their activism into artwork.

Their work includes a mock Irish pub adorned in banners advocating reproductive rights and protesting against conversion therapy.

They beat four other collectives to take the £25,000 prize.

Congratulations to all the nominees, each collective was a worthy winner.  A special congratulations to Array, Belfast is very proud of you.
