We are delighted to share the news that QSS artist Amanda Coogan has been elected as one of the five new members of Aosdána.

Aosdána was founded in 1981 to honour artists whose work has made an outstanding contribution to the arts in Ireland, it also assists it’s members in devoting their energies fully to their practice.

Congratulations to the four other newly elected members, Anne Enright (Literature); Rachel Joynt (Visual Art); Diana Copperwhite (Visual Art) and Linda Buckley (Music)
