Yasmine Robinson – Artist Talk – The MAC Belfast

QSS artist Yasmine Robinson will be giving a talk on her painting practice as part of The MAC’s exhibition New Exits: 10 Years of Painting Shows.

The talk will take place at 1pm on Thursday 23rd February 2023 in the 1st Floor Theatre at The MAC.  The talk is free to attend, please be seated by 12:50pm.

Yasmine Robinson is an artist based in Belfast, lecturing in Fine Art, Foundation Studies at Belfast School of Art, Ulster University and holds a studio at QSS in East Belfast . Yasmine was awarded a Distinction in her Master of Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art, London (2018), having previously studied on the BA Fine Art course at Ulster University, Belfast School of Art, graduating with a first class honours (2017). She has been the recipient of awards including Tiffany & Co. Outset Studio Makers Prize, London (2018) and the RDS Visual Arts Award, Dublin (2017). In 2017 she was also awarded the Frank Bowling Scholarship to support her studies at Chelsea College of Art. Recent projects and exhibitions include Zabludowicz Master-Class (2022), Mutation Station at imlabor, Tokyo, Japan (2020), Penumbra, F.E. McWilliam Gallery, Banbridge (2021), Absinthe, Collective Ending, London (2019), Young Gods, Charlie Smith Gallery, London, (2019). Yasmine also has a forthcoming show at Coups Contemporary in London.
