Vasiliki Stasinaki at Sint Lucas Research week, Antwerp

QSS artist Vasiliki Stasinaki, along with a group of recent graduates of the Advanced Masters of Research in Art and Design program at Sint Lucas Antwerpen’s, have just completed a collective residency at Frans Masereel Centrum.  The outcomes of this residency will be on display in the Morpho Refectory space in Antwerp over the course of the weekend, 14th-16th of October.

MORPHO is an artist residency and studios provider supported by the city of Antwerp and the Flemish government. With a dedicated team of six people, they manage studios for over 250 artists across 14 buildings in the city and run a residency for local and international artists.

Following the ending of their AdMA year at Sint Lucas, seven participants from the program have banded together and taken on a residency at Frans Masereel Centrum. With a variety of expertise and an eagerness to reconnect, we embraced the residency as an opportunity for play, exploration and learning from/with each other. Over the course of ten days, we have lived communally: cooking, breathing, stretching, and working in a myriad of printing techniques. We are happy to be presenting the residency’s outcomes as part of Sint Lucas Research week. Our work will be on display in the Morpho Refectory space in Antwerp over the course of the weekend, 14th-16th of October.
