Hannah Clegg exhibition ‘And Thus: A Stream Wept in the Garden’
QSS artist Hannah Clegg’s exhibition ‘And Thus: A Stream Wept in the Garden’ opened in the Georgian Gallery, Ards Art Centre on 31st January. Hanna’s work is rooted in notions of spiritual quest, substantiating allegories of human nature, the tangible Divine, and the mystical landscape.
The paintings on show draw illumination from poetic religious ecstasies, the medieval bestiaries and corresponding biblical tapestries, mythology and lore.
