Vasiliki Stasinaki exhibiting in the Ulster University graduate show

The MAC will be exhibiting a selection of work from the Ulster University BA and MFA Fine Art Class of 2020, across their three galleries next month. This exhibition marks the re-opening of the gallery following temporary closure (owing to the coronavirus).

Included in the class of 2020 is QSS artist and MFA graduate Vasiliki Stasinaki. Through her work, Vasiliki explores the relationship she has with her Greek homeland and the need to ‘belong’ (without restrictions and boundaries). This relationship has been put under scrutiny since she found herself living in a foreign place, particularly in the context of nationalism, immigration, and history.
