The only given in my work is that it originates from a totally personal standpoint: its inspiration lies in my thoughts, attitudes and relationships from whatever geographical location I find myself in. Each body of work is a metaphorical statement that refers to the shifting concerns and priorities that due to internal/external circumstances create an ongoing juggling act. The physicality of making work is my way of processing, sorting, discarding and re-presenting the minutiae of everyday life.
