Born, Belfast N. Ireland
Graduated from University of Ulster B.A Hons 1977, Advanced Diploma 1978
in Fine Art. Syracuse University, New York M.F.A 1981 in Fine Art.
Has exhibited widely in United States and Ireland.
Solo exhibitions have included Arts Council Gallery, Belfast, Project
Arts Centre, Dublin, Old Museum Arts Centre, Belfast, Crawford Municipal
Gallery, Cork, Fenderesky Gallery, Belfast, School 33 Arts Centre Baltimore
and the Halcyon Gallery, Baltimore.
Awards have included Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Maryland State
arts council bursaries, prize winner ' Strictly Painting', McClean project
for the arts, Virginia, USA, first prize winner Works on Paper exhibition,
Fenderesky gallery, Belfast, Purchase prize 43rd Annual Exhibition, Munsen
Williams Proctor Arts Museum, New York
Devlin currently lives and works in Belfast and is a lecturer at the University of Ulster.
